Job Description

Our client is a data-driven marketing and media organization seeking a Senior Specialist, Digital Advertising to support paid search and retail media initiatives for large consumer brands.
This role will focus on executing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across search and retail media platforms while collaborating closely with internal teams to drive measurable performance and continuous optimization.


The ideal candidate combines hands-on platform expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategy.
This is a hybrid position based in the New York City area.


Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Optimization
  • Implement campaign strategies and execution plans while managing budgets and pacing to performance goals
  • Manage and optimize paid search and retail media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Kroger Precision Marketing, and other retail media networks
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance and adjust targeting, bids, and creative to improve results
  • Ensure testing frameworks are maintained and insights are applied across campaigns


Strategy & Performance Analysis
  • Analyze campaign data to identify performance trends and optimization opportunities
  • Develop and present performance insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Identify high-impact testing opportunities and prioritize initiatives with the greatest potential return


Reporting & Communication
  • Create ad-hoc performance reports that highlight key insights and performance drivers
  • Communicate campaign performance, testing results, and strategic recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders
  • Support ongoing collaboration across account, strategy, and media teams


Qualifications
  • 2+ years of hands-on digital advertising experience required
  • Experience managing paid search and/or retail media campaigns across major advertising platforms
  • Experience working with platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Kroger Precision Marketing, or similar retail media networks
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and identify actionable insights
  • Experience working with complex client accounts and translating goals into platform execution
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
