Freeman+Leonard is seeking a Sr. Content Creator (Video Sr. Art Director) for an advertising agency client

This is a HYBRID role in Dallas, TX
 
Content is central to every touchpoint across the consumer decision journey and plays a critical role in shaping consumer perceptions of brands and ultimately turning consumers into loyalists. The agency is seeking a candidate who is passionate about leading the creation of best-in-class content that executes smart strategies designed to spur consumer interest and drive purchase. 
 
The primary responsibility for this position is to help elevate the quality and creativity of the agency’s social content,  through their own personal efforts creating such content and also by guiding, directing, collaborating with and educating the content creator team. The Senior Content Creator will work in close partnership with the social strategy team, delivering content that is on-strategy and relevant in the right social channels.  
 
We’re looking for a savvy social content creator who can develop fun, thumb-stopping and engaging content across all platforms. This person understands trends, meme culture, branded social content and is passionate about all of it—from food to lifestyle to contextually and culturally relevant content. This person will be instrumental in helping to lead the social content team with content that maintains brand voice, personality, relevancy, and a consistent look across a variety of CPG brands. 
 
The primary mission for this position is to further establish the agency as a trusted, capable, market-moving and award-winning source for branded social content that rivals the work of larger agencies where the sole product is social content.

Core Accountabilities

  • Content Creation Leadership – Works with the content and commerce experience team to communicate a clear story woven across key tactics that drives consumer engagement, while helping to lead a team of social content specialists and nurturing their growth within the agency 

  • Content Creation– demonstrates an understanding of trends, consumer behavior(s) and competitor landscape

  • You will also be able to identify gaps and recommend improvements in the social content creation process and work as a key integrator across teams to make change happen. 

  • Social Media Marketing - Demonstrates extensive knowledge of social media marketing across the major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and TikTok) and delivers best practices in terms of social media strategy, rules, moderation, content, paid media and consumer engagement

  • Strong understanding of social editing skills, especially TikTok

  • Collaborative Partner – Partners with planning and social strategists to align on concepts and execute content that is socially relevant and strategically sound

  • Continuous Learner – Provides expertise and education to the agency and clients by staying on top of the changing content marketing landscape and competitor activity

  • Ongoing Education - Educates colleagues both internally and externally on the social content best practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in social marketing content creation,  managing major brands on social platforms and influencer marketing, content marketing experience a plus 

  • Agency experience working in the social space preferred 

  • Education: Four-Year Degree in communication, marketing or related field

  • Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

  • Travel: Based on the requirements and location of the account being serviced
