Director Marketing Communications
Job Description
The Marketing Communications Manager is to lead the brand voice, tone & imagery across all communications platforms primarily with strategic content development and secondarily through collaboration with 3rd party vendors.
Primary Responsibilities:
SOCIAL MEDIA
Develop Social Media strategies that include Corp vs Franchisee tactics that support national and local interest.
Manage our Social Media agency in order to deliver cohesive brand aligned social media templates, playbook & “how to” guide to our franchisee partners.
Enforce Brand standards across all social media platforms within our franchisee community.
Manage day to day social media related tactical and maintenance duties including developing social media posts across all platforms and maintaining a social media content calendar.
EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
Support the creation of all franchisee communications based emails in collaboration with marketing area team leader, 3rd party
Develop and manage a company & area wide communication calendar for all email communications.
Develop & update all related customer email journeys on Salesforce and in Hubspot (Franchisee Development Marketing) either in collaboration with marketing area team leader , 3rd party vendor or independently.
CONTENT DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT
Responsible for approving or developing all content on corporate and franchise development websites either in collaboration with marketing area team leader, 3rd party vendor or independently.
Responsible for approving or developing all content for all corporate and franchise development collateral either in collaboration with marketing area team leader , 3rd party vendor or independently.
Will be responsible to manage all content translations & accuracy across all digital & printed materials used throughout the company either internally or externally.
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS
Will be the lead manager for all webinars which includes developing and maintaining a corporate webinar calendar, plus managing the communication and deployment of these webinars in collaboration with marketing area team leader, 3rd party vendor or independently.
Will lead and manage other PR related activities that include but are not limited to corporate sponsorships, PR announcements, influencer & spokesperson agreements, etc.
Lead role in developing and supporting marketing events in collaboration with marketing area team leader, 3rd party vendor or independently.
Requirements:
Must be passionate and driven to improve the business success of our Franchisees, Concierge Managers, and Salon Owners.
Must have excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
Strong email marketing experience especially using Salesforce and Hubspot's CRM platforms.
Experience managing at minimum 3rd party vendors. Direct & In direct report experience is a plus.
Excellent project management and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple deliverables, on a timely basis and efficiently.
Ability to develop presentations and articulate important information from presentations to large or small groups at various levels.
Possess a passion for accuracy in terms of spelling, grammar and brand alignment across all communication mediums.
Willingness to travel on occasion to support important corporate initiatives.
Education
BA, in Marketing related field.
5+ Years Experience in communications, social media and other related roles.
