Account Supervisor

Plans, coordinates and manages day-to-day agency account efforts on behalf of the client; builds and enhances client relations; ensures total quality of all client materials and final product; supervises account team; develops and coaches Senior Account Executive/Account Executive.

Core Accountabilities
  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing client relationships/expectations
  • Prepares and presents insights, strategy, concepts, POVs, creative and other client communication in formal written form
  • Aids client in the development of objectives, strategies, background, competitive activity and appropriately apply as it relates to business
  • Identifies smart yet pragmatic opportunities for clients based on keen awareness of emerging marketing and advertising trends
  • Ensures all conceptual and creative ideas meet objectives and key brand strategies
    • Provides internal feedback on all materials/work developed for the client
  • Oversees/manages client programming
    • Manages client input and feedback to meet agency process/standards
    • Leads strategic thinking with input from supervisor
    • Provides and obtains input from appropriate parties to ensure programs meet quality standards and client set measures (i.e.: brand equity, objectives, constraints, executional requirements, vendor selection)
    • Responsible for developing/delegating, managing and meeting set program budgets and timelines
  • Provides proactive thought leadership to client on a regular basis
    • Articulates a clear and compelling point of view based on knowledge of current digital marketing trends
  • Maintains an extensive base of industry, brand and competitive knowledge
  • Maintains a foundational understanding of digital marketing, social media campaigns and online promotional tactics
  • Acts as source of marketing and promotional expertise for the team
  • Manages and develops internal team
  • Supports Account Director in managing business financials
  • Facilitates new business opportunities

Requirements
  • Years Experience: 5+ years working in an agency environment 
  • Digital and shopper marketing agency preferred 
  • Education: Four-Year Degree
