We’re looking for a hands-on Paid Search Specialist to support the execution, optimization, and day-to-day management of paid search campaigns across a portfolio of brands. This role will focus heavily on campaign setup, keyword and query management, feed support, testing, reporting, and ongoing optimizations across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and emerging search platforms.
The Paid Search Specialist will work closely with the Paid Search Manager and broader marketing team to help drive performance, scale campaigns efficiently, and support the continued growth of the organization's in-house paid search capabilities.

This role will focus heavily on campaign setup, keyword and query management, feed support, testing, reporting, and ongoing optimizations across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and emerging search platforms.
The Paid Search Specialist will work closely with the Paid Search Manager and broader marketing team to help drive performance, scale campaigns efficiently, and support the continued growth of the organization's in-house paid search capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution and Optimization
- Support execution, optimization, and scaling of paid search campaigns across multiple brands on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
- Assist in building and maintaining full-funnel campaign structures, including Search, Shopping, and Performance Max
- Own day-to-day campaign management: pacing, QA, budget changes, bid/optimization adjustments, keyword updates, and troubleshooting delivery issues
- Support management of large monthly spend with ROAS and CPA accountability by monitoring performance signals and implementing optimizations quickly and accurately
- Identify performance trends, anomalies, and scaling opportunities; escalate insights and recommended actions to the Paid Search Manager
- Maintain strong account hygiene: naming conventions, campaign documentation, change logs, and clear structure to support clean testing and reporting
- Conduct keyword research and expansion to identify new growth opportunities
- Perform search query mining to improve efficiency and uncover new scaling opportunities
- Build and maintain negative keyword strategies to improve traffic quality
- Support match type optimization and keyword structure improvements
- Assist with audience layering strategies (remarketing lists, customer lists, in-market audiences, and expansion signals)
- Ensure paid search execution aligns with broader funnel strategy, promotional initiatives, and business priorities
- Monitor and support optimization of Google Merchant Center feeds and product performance
- Assist with updating product titles, descriptions, categorization, and attributes to improve visibility and conversion rates
- Troubleshoot feed issues, disapprovals, and coverage gaps
- Partner with internal teams and tools to improve feed quality and completeness
- Support structured testing initiatives across ad copy, bidding strategies, landing pages, and campaign types
- Assist in setting up clean tests (controls, timelines, success metrics) and ensure proper execution
- Monitor and analyze performance using platform tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Ads, GA4)
- Build and maintain recurring performance reports (weekly/monthly), including insights and optimization recommendations
- Document testing results, learnings, and next steps in a structured and repeatable way
- Support attribution analysis (platform vs. GA4 vs. blended) and flag discrepancies or tracking issues
- Draft, test, and iterate on search ad copy aligned with brand messaging and performance goals
- Support responsive search ad optimization (headlines, descriptions, asset performance)
- Partner with landing page and CRO teams to align messaging and improve conversion performance
- Apply best practices across extensions, formats, and automation features
- Work closely with the Paid Search Manager and Paid Media leadership on campaign planning support, execution priorities, and performance insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, eCommerce, analytics, and creative teams to align keyword strategy, landing pages, and campaign execution
- Support campaign launch readiness: tracking validation, UTMs, landing page QA, and feed readiness
- Contribute to process improvements including QA checklists, testing frameworks, reporting templates, and workflow efficiencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 1–3 years of experience supporting or managing paid search campaigns
- Familiarity with Google Ads required (Search required; Shopping and Performance Max preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Ads is a plus
- Understanding of paid search metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, impression share, and conversion rate
- Experience with keyword management, query mining, and campaign optimization fundamentals
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Analytical mindset with interest in performance marketing, testing, and data-driven decision making
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with Google Merchant Center, Shopify, or feed management tools is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a willingness to learn and adapt
