The Director will be responsible for translating ideas into measurable business outcomes, ensuring all initiatives are grounded in clear hypotheses, executed with discipline, and evaluated with rigor.

Key Responsibilities
Innovation Pipeline & Process Ownership
  • Own the end-to-end innovation pipeline—from ideation through testing, scaling, and post-analysis
  • Establish and operate a repeatable innovation cadence (e.g., ongoing testing cycles, quarterly launches)
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of concepts across product, pricing, and customer engagement opportunities
  • Balance short-term performance initiatives with longer-term, strategic innovation bets
Commercialization & Business Impact
  • Define clear business cases for each initiative, including expected impact on customer acquisition, revenue, and margin
  • Partner with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to model scenarios and evaluate tradeoffs
  • Ensure all initiatives align with broader business and financial objectives
  • Measure and report performance against defined business outcomes
Test-and-Learn Leadership
  • Lead a structured experimentation agenda tied to key business questions (e.g., pricing, bundling, customer segments, product innovation)
  • Drive speed to market through rapid testing, iteration, and optimization
  • Translate data and insights into actionable decisions
  • Continuously refine testing frameworks and methodologies
Decisioning & Portfolio Management
  • Define success metrics and decision criteria for all initiatives
  • Evaluate incremental impact, including potential cannibalization
  • Make timely decisions to scale, iterate, or discontinue initiatives
  • Manage innovation as a portfolio, optimizing across multiple concurrent initiatives
Trend & Insight Integration
  • Leverage consumer insights, data signals, and market trends to inform innovation strategy
  • Translate emerging trends into testable concepts and initiatives
  • Maintain a forward-looking innovation roadmap informed by real-time insights
Cross-Functional Execution
  • Partner with Brand, Digital, Operations, Supply Chain, and Analytics teams to bring initiatives to market
  • Ensure initiatives are operationally feasible and scalable
  • Identify and mitigate execution risks early
  • Align innovation strategy with broader business operations
Continuous Improvement
  • Develop and track performance scorecards tied to key business metrics
  • Lead structured post-launch evaluations and apply learnings to future initiatives
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and disciplined execution

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing, innovation, brand strategy, or related areas
  • Experience in consumer-facing industries (e.g., retail, restaurant, CPG) strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end initiatives from concept through execution and scaling

Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience with marketing analytics and insights platforms (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics)
  • Deep understanding of experimentation frameworks and A/B testing
  • Familiarity with CRM and digital marketing ecosystems
  • Experience with consumer research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect insights to business outcomes
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Strong project management and organizational skills

Leadership Profile
  • Results-oriented with strong ownership mentality
  • Highly collaborative and able to drive alignment across teams
  • Curious, innovative, and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving change
  • Strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
