Business Development Manager
Job Description
Freeman+Leonard is looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our client's sales team. Must be based in DFW to work a hybrid schedule in office and prior experience working in the hotel/hospitality industry is required
As a Business Development Manager, you will have an opportunity to develop and grow new relationships with leading hotel brands, hotel management companies, and independent hotels. The ideal candidate will have at least (5-7) years of sales experience in the hospitality industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, prioritize, and initiate business development opportunities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence and drive revenue growth
- Build strong relationships with new clients, expand partners, and stakeholders, serving as the point of contact while addressing their needs and concerns promptly
- Expand company recognition by establishing relationships with new companies and untapped partners
- Execute sales and marketing strategies to grow business; utilize a full range of sales strategies and tactics, e.g., cold calling, networking, and social media outreach, to generate new leads to support a focus on lead and demand generation
- Attend networking events to attract and retain clients
- Collaborate with internal team daily to ensure delivery of candidates to our clients in a timely manner
- Negotiate to bring top tier talent to new clients
- Identify and execute assigned sales plans to meet or exceed established revenue goals and KPIs for monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the talent acquisition industry, market trends, and client pain points to effectively communicate our value proposition
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience of (5-7) years, or more, in a relevant hospitality role
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and goals
- Experience prospecting for new business via cold calling, email solicitation, LinkedIn and other resources
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (Bullhorn preferred)
- Proficiency with social media tools (LinkedIn, Facebook), including postings
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to present and explain services to a variety of audiences
- Prior experience working in the hotel/hospitality industry is required
- Bachelor’s degree, strongly preferred
