Freeman+Leonard is seeking a Brand Manager for a professional services company.

This is a hybrid position in Dallas, TX
As the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for helping oversee the company’s brand positioning and marketing approach utilizing both online and offline channels. This position requires a strategic background, along with creative expertise and an attention to details. You’ll work across all levels and departments of our organization to find what makes us unique and communicate it to others!

Key Areas of Focus: 
Be an Audience SME

  • Work in partnership with your department head to lead both industry and consumer research that will impact the brand both short-term and long-term. 

  • Be the subject matter expert on our target audience and put together unique practices to evangelize who are customers are throughout the organization. 

  • Stay current on market trends and competitive activity and socialize your findings regularly. 

  • Segmentation and Journey Marketing:

  • Through your research, help define customer segments and outline their primary needs.

  • Utilize an understanding of multi-touch marketing to deliver messaging that is most relevant for each touch. 

  • Ensure maximum effectiveness of the company’s content through the implementation of cross-promotional advertising.  
Campaign Development and Analysis

  • Increase the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns by writing amazing creative briefs that clearly define what value our products and services bring a consumer. 

  • Be responsible for the on-time delivery of cross-channel, engaging campaigns by driving ideation and action across multiple teams. 

  • Utilize research, data, and examples to approve campaign directions while tracking the results post launch. 
Be a Content Expert

Utilize your experience to bring new ideas to market within the advice content and organic content space. Understand how to leverage all owned and paid channels to drive engagement of quality prospects. 
Education and/or Experience

  • 3+ years experience in a marketing position at a high growth, small-mid size company.

  • 5+ years experience in managing the strategy and execution of campaigns 

  • 5+ years experience with a focus on customer segments and messaging strategy

  • Experience in both B2B and B2C preferred
Other Skills and Abilities

  • Not a designer but highly creative with experience in identifying and engaging target audiences through compelling insights and channel best practices

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

  • Attendance and on-time reporting.

  • Participates in proactive efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

  • Works effectively and communicates clearly with other employees.

  • Handles changing deadlines and priorities.

  • Reviews work for accuracy, completeness and proper authority.

  • Proficiency with Google’s suite of tools and Asana preferred

  • Understanding of data and communications handling in accordance to privacy laws (GDPR, for example)

  • Able to analyze the effectiveness of your work through the setting of clear KPIs and post-campaign reporting. 

  • Must possess excellent follow-up skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and aggressive timelines
Work Environment 

  • Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.

  • The office work environment can be boisterous.  

  • Attire is business casual.

  • Hybrid work schedule in-office days Mon - Wed, remote work Th/Fri.
