Freeman+Leonard is looking for a Brand Manager for an advertising agency
This is a full time remote position

As the Brand Manager you are the glue that holds everything together – juggling multiple projects at once while ensuring deliverables are met and budgets are maintained. Part creative, part project manager, and a client relationship master, this brand management role is ultimately a problem solver at heart that keeps everything running smoothly.

What You'll Do:
  • Act as day-to-day contact for key clients and internal team members
  • Understand and interpret client needs into actionable direction for the team
  • Participate in client planning and developing strategies that brings client employment branding to life
  • Craft creative briefs that communicate client objectives and directions to internal team members
  • Champion creativity, helping the team bring ideas to life through a variety of channels: internal communications, recruiting campaigns, content, social, digital marketing, among others
  • Manage client feedback, direction and expectations that results in trust-based client relationships
  • Lead and execute integrated marketing strategies across a multitude of traditional and emerging digital channels
  • Interact with project management to develop and maintain timelines and budgets
  • Act as the financial steward for the client and the agency
  • Have high standards and attention to detail and organization
  • Understand strategy and key insights that drive meaningful work
  • Lead client presentations and POVs, with confidence
  • Motivate internal teams to bring client objectives to life in a collaborative, communicative, efficient, team building way
  • Manage client budgets, hours reporting, status calls, timelines, and billing
  • Identify and circumvent potential project risks and red flags
  • Support Senior Leadership in new business opportunities as needed

What You’ll Need
  • 5+ years of advertising or marketing experience
  • Client facing/account management experience in an agency environment, ideally including leading internal teams with strategy, content, creative, communications planning
  • Exceptional management, communication, and diplomacy skills
  • Ability to develop excellent working relationship with all internal team members and clients
  • Strong work ethic and thorough attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and to deliver projects on schedule, on brand, and on budget
  • Ability to work proactively and autonomously
  • Mac and software proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Suite
