Job Description


We are seeking a Senior Marketing Brand Manager to work closely with the Vice President in building out the brand and promotional calendar to further all strategic and business objectives, and then lead execution of annual calendar across brand ecosystem. Must be able to work onsite in DFW.

The Senior Marketing Manager will lead multiple agencies from strategic brief to launch: writing creative briefs, briefing all agencies, managing photoshoots and leading integrated build out of creative across paid/social/owned media to yield final creative that is aligned with brand standards and a cohesive campaign. Sr Marketing Manager plays a hands-on role in leading and evolving social and influencer strategies, working with Director of Media and agencies to drive relevance with Millennial and Gen Z audiences.

The Senior Marketing Manager will lead cross-functional teams through the project management process, strategically shaping initiatives, and leading tactical execution to ensure projects are done on time, on budget and at the highest standard. The position will also work with brand partners (like Coca Cola, KDP, Tysons, etc) to uncover cobranding, promotional and other ways to integrate and drive mutual business objectives. Role requires strong strategic thinking, strong brand background, strong communication skills (written, Powerpoint and presentation) and ability to work cross functionally/with agencies to communicate and ensure flawless build out and execution of ideas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Vice President in championing brand house, brand standards in all brand touchpoints to ensure seamless brand communication and consumer experience. Work across creative agencies, public relations agencies, and print vendors to ensure standards upheld.
  • Support Vice President in overall marketing strategy development, including national brand campaign strategy, annual planning, building brand calendar and key calendar window planning. Work to ensure optimal integration across paid/social/owned media and identify integration opportunities with other partners (influencers, partners, other promotions). Work across marketing team/ops/finance to ensure calendar will deliver against business objectives.
  • Lead and execute planning, implementation and launch for each marketing window and layered promotions. Own timeline and calendar, work cross functionally and cross agency to manage projects:
  • Craft creative briefs and lead briefing agencies for all campaigns and initiatives.
  • Lead agencies in developing final creative across all paid media/social/owned channels/signage to ensure correct visual hierarchy, appetite appeal, accuracy and alignment with brand standards.
  • Coordinate, attend and oversee monthly organic social photo shoots and campaign product photo shoots.
  • Lead and execute multiple marketing windows/projects simultaneously by tracking and managing workflow, defining priorities, and managing budgets.
  • Enter IT tickets to enable product launches
  • Traffic final creative assets to business partners for live date and maintain final creative image drives.
  • Create system communications to our field on project details and timelines as needed.
  • Lead POP development: brief agencies, obtain print estimates with printer, manage timeline.
  • Update asset files on shared database
  • Present brand strategies and programming to different audiences: all agency briefings, cross functional taskforce, franchisee meetings, conferences. Must have a strong and clear presentation style.
  • Own the national marketing calendar and make ongoing adjustments and communicate to all stakeholders.
  • Own and maintain owned channel content calendar in conjunction with national marketing campaigns for organic social media, emails, apps, text messages and website.
  • Work closely with Marketing team and Finance to ensure financial viability of promotional offers/coupons from cost of sales analysis to break events and post-promo performance measures.
  • Understand meaningful brand metrics, identify opportunities, and provide strategic perspective to build both core restaurant business and off premise/new growth initiatives
  • Manage marketing help-desk tickets, store listing forms.
  • Support budget management, invoice processing and tracking. Also play pivotal role in refining agency bench SOW and continually refining/improving processes to drive efficiencies/lower costs.

 

Education & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience, with focus on brand marketing or advertising/agency
  • Cross-functional team leadership/project management
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects easily
  • Restaurant or food/beverage experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of general marketing and social media required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Exceptionally strong emotional intelligence
  • Ability to span detailed execution to high level strategic thinking
