Freeman+Leonard is looking for a Senior Account Executive for an advertising agency on a CPG account

This is a hybrid role in either Dallas, TX or Bentonville, AR

 

The Senior Account Executive serves as liaison between client and creative; develops relationships with clients and acts as a resource for them; helps clients to plan, develop and execute strategic, business/brand-building initiatives; supports client contact/communication; ensures flawless execution of project work and owns delegated projects with minimal assistance needed from Account Supervisor; develops and coaches Assistant Account Executives and Account Executives; manages account finances; maintains knowledge of industry trends.

 

Core Accountabilities

  • Provides accurate and complete direction to creative, production and planning via standard forms (job starts, change orders, mechanical orders) 

  • Coordinates accurate and efficient collaboration by bringing all groups together to form smart, strategic programming, creative, etc. 

  • Understands available and appropriate retail marketing tools and tactics

  • Knowledge of technical aspects and techniques related to creative and production 

  • Plays an active role in developing/maintaining client relationships 

  • Develops, manages and executes client programs including, but not limited to, the following activities:

  • Initiating projects with clients and gathering appropriate information

  • Preparation of and leading brainstorms

  • Written communications (change orders, conference reports, client communication, etc.)

  • Delegation and management of larger projects within the team

  • Timeline and budget development/maintenance

  • Vendor meetings and management

  • On-time delivery of materials and meeting in-store dates

  • Supports Manager in development/application of objectives, strategies, background, competitive activity of client work

  • Develops decks and client presentations

  • Financial management (estimating time and costs, written estimates, cost-to-dates/tracking, invoices)

  • Develops Assistant Account Executives and Account Executives 

  • Provides account-specific training to Account Coordinator

  • Assists with new business pitches when requested

  • Assists Manager in recognizing and acquiring new business and organic growth

  • Provide insightful and constructive input on creative

Requirements

  • Year’s Experience: 3-5 years in an agency environment

  • Education: Four-Year Degree
