Marketing Director
Job Description
Seeking a Marketing Director with experience leading an entire Marketing Department and managing the development of customer engagement and digital marketing strategies, including social, mobile apps and web. Experience in multi-unit retail organizations, with strong preference for food industry experience preferred. Must be able to work onsite in Tulsa Monday-Friday.
The Marketing Director will develop and direct a disciplined, integrated and planned approach to marketing and advertising with a clear emphasis on the evaluation of their impact on overall sales/profit performance. Ensure productive, open two-way communication with all departments. Be innovative and provide vision, always looking for improvements.
- Provide effective leadership for marketing department(s) and effectively manage direct-report employees.

- Manage, direct and integrate all activities within the Marketing department to include Advertising, Digital Marketing, Loyalty Program including Customer Engagement, Graphics, Contributions, Sponsorships, Public Relations and Corporate News material. Develop and implement short and long-range strategies and tactics to support each of these disciplines.
Initiate, develop and implement methods to measure marketing campaign effectiveness with Business Intelligence and outside partners. Allocate resources appropriately based on measured results.
Supervise preparation of annual marketing plans and budgets; exercise control to ensure that plans are executed in a timely manner within established budgets.
Initiate, and supervise all trademark, patent and copyright matters. Supervise new product name development and packaging. Maintain store design as a part of the brand. Protect the overall brand and all other brand properties.
Assist in the effective advertisement of food brands; oversee the scheduling for introduction of new items; and help to determine timing on food promotions for best overall impact to the store in regard to signage.
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute tactical plans to support Strategic Plan and key initiatives.
- Ensure Marketing staff members are doing their part in achieving the expected due dates of the Strategic Plan and report changes in a timely fashion.
- Conduct monthly reviews of plan initiatives and tactical items and provide status updates for plan items that you own.
Requirements:
Required education: College degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
Required experience: Ten years’ marketing experience. Experience with data analytics and loyalty programs, leading large teams, managing agency relationships, leading large-scale, cross-organizational initiatives and influencing organizational strategy.
Desired experience: Experience leading an entire Marketing Department. Development of customer engagement and digital marketing strategies, including social, mobile apps and web. Experience in multi-unit retail organizations, with strong preference for food industry experience. Experience overseeing and coordinating multiple media agencies and partners.
Required skills: Strong organization and supervisory skills; understanding of data structures and data analysis; ability to plan and execute long and short term; self-motivated; ability to generate initiative; strong analytical abilities; good creative talent, ability to make decisions; working knowledge of graphics, print, radio, and television production; research; media planning, buying and evaluation; strong sense of consumer motivation and behavior.
